Millet Methi Rice
Ingredient
  1. Navena rice = 1cup
  2. Oil as needed
  3. Garlic cloves
  4. Cumin = ½ tea spoon
  5. Green chill = 1 or 2
  6. Green peas = ½ cup
  7. Menthekura = 1 ¼ tightly
  8. Garam masala = ¼ to ½ tea spoon
  9. Turmeric as needed
  10. Salt as needed
Method

Step 1

Cook navena rice first

Step 2

Saute dry spices and garlic in hot oil

Step 3

Saute methi leaves and peas for 3 to 4 minutes

Step 4

Add masala powder, turmeric and mix well

Step 5

Switch off the stove. Add navena rice and salt to the pan. Mix everything well. If desired can add little lemon juice

Step 6

Serve methi rice with raita or a veggie salad
